2025 GMC Acadia
The new GMC Acadia 2025 model has gotten a total makeover, now claiming a spot among the big players in the midsize SUV world. It measures a full 10.6 inches longer and 3.2 inches taller than the previous version, bringing sleek styling and tech upgrades while providing more room inside.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2025 GMC Acadia is offered in three trim grades: the Elevation, AT4, and Denali. The Elevation has LED headlamps, 18-inch Grazen Metallic wheels, and black roof rails. It's 204 inches long, 87.9 inches wide with mirrors, 70.1 inches tall, and has a 120.9-inch wheelbase.
AT4 models have a lifted suspension, Active Torque Control AWD, 18-inch dark wheels with all-terrain tires, Night Rider chrome accents, and red tow hooks. The Denali brings luxury with its signature grille featuring Galvano Silver accents and optional 22-inch wheels. All models maintain 6.8 inches of ground clearance.
Engine (Power)
All 2025 Acadias have a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque. This engine features direct fuel injection and aluminum block and head construction for better efficiency. An eight-speed automatic transmission manages gear changes smoothly across all models.
The AT4 comes standard with Active Torque Control all-wheel drive, while the Elevation and the Denali offer it as an option. This system continuously adjusts power to each wheel for better grip in various conditions. At 152 cubic inches of displacement, the turbocharged and intercooled engine delivers power when needed.
Performance
The Acadia reaches 60 mph in 6.5-6.7 seconds despite its 4,550-4,950-pound weight. With the Trailering Package, it tows up to 5,000 pounds. Its responsive steering handles both parking lots and highways with confidence.
Off-road, the AT4 excels with hydraulic rebound control suspension, hill-descent control, and a dedicated Terrain mode. All Acadia models offer up to seven drive modes.
Interior
The 2025 GMC Acadia features a 15-inch portrait-orientation touchscreen alongside an 11-inch digital gauge cluster. Front passengers get 42.6 inches of headroom and 44.3 inches of legroom, while second-row riders enjoy 40 inches overhead and 41.5 inches for legs. The Elevation trim seats eight individuals, while the AT4 and Denali can fit seven people with premium seating.
Cargo capacity measures 23 cubic feet behind the third row, 57.3 cubic feet with the third-row seats folded, or 97.5 cubic feet with both rear rows down. Standard features include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cord-free charging, and three-zone climate control.
Options include a 16-speaker Bose system, and the Denali adds an 8-inch configurable head-up display and heated steering wheel. Smart storage solutions keep the cabin organized throughout.
Safety Features
The 2025 Acadia has over 15 driver-assistance features. Standard equipment includes forward automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and lane-keeping assist. Parking becomes easier with front and rear sensors and the HD Surround Vision system providing a 360-degree view around your vehicle.
Super Cruise, optional on all trims, offers hands-free driving on 400,000-plus miles of compatible highways by managing steering, braking, and acceleration. Other available features include the rear camera mirror for unobstructed rearward visibility and adaptive cruise control. Also included are two complete LATCH connector sets in the second row and tether anchors in the third row.
